Current Support job positions that are open at Lexington Public Schools.

For 2026-2027 school year

Custodian/maintenance

Successful candidates will have experience being productive with minimal supervision.  The position is flexible in terms of the ratio of custodial and maintenance work according to the applicants' skills.  This position has the potential to be combined with bus driving.  

Bus Driver

Candidates prioritizing safety are desired.  All training is district-paid.  Route and shuttle opportunities are available.  The route schedules make a great retirement or flexible self-employment supplement.  There is potential for combining with a custodial/maintenance position for the right candidate.

Child Nutrition (Cafeteria)

Full-time and/or part-time applications accepted.  These positions are ideal for those seeking after-school availability with children, etc.  While any experience is helpful, training is available.  Clerk responsibilities for report filing are available at an increased rate for the right candidate.
