For Parents

  * This site is for your use as an information resource.   We all know that parents are our first and most important teachers.

  * The State Department of Education has published Parent Guides to assist you in guiding your children through every step of the learning process, from Pre-K to 12th grade. Oklahoma’s Priority Academic Student Skills (PASS) serve as a set of specific school academic standards covering all areas of a student’s growth: language, mathematics, science, social studies, and the arts.  Guides are available online for your use at http://sde.state.ok.us/Curriculum/PASS/Parents.html.

  * If you have students in grades 8-10 with plans to continue their education after High School, please look into OHLAP (Oklahoma Higher Learning Access Program).  The time to sign up for this program is NOW if you are eligible.  There are curriculum guidelines for this college-bound program, so be sure you see your school counselor to make sure you are on track.

  * Check your Student's progress online.  Use the Lexington Grade Portal to access grades and assignment completion information.  If you have forgotten your user name and password, please contact Mendi Dawley at the High School office for help. She can be reached at 527-3810 x138.

  * For Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) information, contact Kristin Barber.

  * Watch the Seniors page for important information specific to your graduating senior.  There are many deadlines and events that you and your child need to take note of.

  * The Student Handbook is online for you to read, should you have questions regarding graduation requirements, or student absences.

  * Enrollment forms for next year will be made available shortly before school begins.  Take a moment to download forms and have them filled out before coming into the office.  We can all save valuable time and energy!

  * A handy list of Oklahoma's Immunization requirements is also here for your review.
