    The Lexington School District is proud of the academic achievements of its students, and we feel students should be appropriately recognized for their hard work and dedication.   We will add to this page as awards are announced.

Congratulations to the following new inductees to the National Honor Society: Lauren Davis, Hannah Holasek, Emilee Graddy, Taylor Faulkenberry, Thayne Winterton and Thomas Briscoe. 
Seniors are Jodi Idlett, Jordyn Snow, Kayla Wright, Jacob Weigel, Kyle Renbarger, Blake Wilson, Savannah Wood, Brittany Sawyer, Rylee Ellyson and Rachel Simon.  Juniors are Emily Cole, Trenton Hamm, Megan Hemmerling, Samantha Hopkins, Alec Bryen, Chelsea Renbarger, Saige Smith, Callie Ward and Stormy Wigley.
     
April 2011   Congratulations to Southern Accents for receiving BEST OF CLASS, TOP TEN SHOW CHOIR and MOST ENTERTAINING SHOW CHOIR OF THE DAY. They competed against 23 other choirs on April 27th
     
   
Ag in the Classroom State Teacher of the Year!
Congratulations to Cheryl Hyde, who was recognized at the State Capitol on Wednesday for her achievement.  Pictured are Kelly Curtwright, State Dept of Education, Heather Buckmaster, Executive Director OK Beef Council, Jim Self representing the Paul Jackson Family, Cheryl, Jim Hill from Southwest Dairy Farmers, State Representative Wes Hilliard, and Ag Secretary Jim Reese.  Cheryl will travel to Florida this summer for the National AG in the Classroom gathering.
     
    Congratulations to Jordyn Snow for placing 3rd and to Kayla Wright for placing 4th in English Literature at the USAO Interscholastic Meet. Jordyn will compete at State.
     
    Congratulations to Emily Cole and Chelsea Renbarger for placing FIRST at State in the FCCLA Star Events!  They will compete this summer at Anaheim.

March 2011   Congratulations to Logan Northcutt, Thayne Winterton, Coy Pfeiffer and Kyle Renbarger.  They placed 1st in the Central District Farm Shop Contest. Coy placed 3rd and Kyle placed 2nd in the Individual competition.

October 2010   Congratulations to Emily Cole for being selected to the 2010-2011 State Superintendentís Student Advisory Council, and to Rylee Ellyson & Jodi Idlett for being selected to the McClain Bank Student Board.
