Announcements  
    * Upward Bound Math/Science Opportunity! Grades 9-12

Thanks to Mrs. Humbolt, Lexington has been approved to be a school served by the TRIO Upward Bound program through East Central University. Participants in this program will receive academic instruction, academic counseling, assistance with ACT, post-secondary planning, introduction to STEM careers, service learning opportunities, cultural enrichment,and a 6 week on campus program during the summer. Students also receive a stipend for attending and participating.

Eligibility requirements are that the student qualifies as Low Income and/or Potential First Generation College Graduate, be a US citizen or Permanent Resident, be at least 13 and in grades 9-12, attend Lexington High School, and desire a post-secondary education and a career in a STEM related field.
